Job Overview:
This role primarily aims to safeguard BimaKavach's financial health through diligent accounting and treasury management, ensure strict adherence to all statutory and regulatory compliances by coordinating with consultants, and enhance financial stability through precise reporting and internal process support. By doing so, the individual will contribute to informed strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Compliance
- Maintain books of accounts and accounting entries in Tally/Zoho.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and ROC filings in coordination with consultants.
- Assist with audit support, reconciliations, and maintaining statutory documentation.
2. Banking & Treasury Management
- Manage day-to-day banking activities including:
- Initiating vendor and insurer payouts
- Tracking UTRs and reconciling payments
- Ensuring timely fund transfers and disbursements
- Liaise with banking partners for account operations, KYC, and issue resolution.
- Maintain daily bank reconciliation statements and cash flow tracking sheets.
3. Vendor & Insurer Coordination
- Coordinate with insurance companies for commission reconciliation, payouts, and queries.
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and documentation follow-ups.
- Maintain updated trackers for collections, reimbursements, and expenses.
4. Internal Process Support
- Maintain financial trackers and Excel dashboards for payouts, receivables, and payables.
- Support internal teams with financial documentation, approvals, and expense processes.
- Assist in automation initiatives for recurring finance tasks
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Professional Accounting Certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred
- 3+ years of experience in financial management or a similar role
- Strong Accounting (IFRS/GAAP) & Financial Statement Expertise
- Advanced Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning Skills
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Knowledge of Investment Appraisal & Treasury Management
- Solid Understanding of Tax Laws & Compliance
- GST and IT compliance
